Owner of FAITH
My name is Brandi Woodlee. I have been married to my husband, Michael, for 31 years. We have two daughters, Mariah and Emily, who are now 28 and 24, and three grandchildren. I accepted Christ as my Savior in 1998. We were a homeschooling family for about 15 years. Most of those years I was in some type of leadership position in the support group Family Academics In The Home (FAITH). In 2012 we became a 501(c)3 non profit corporation, of which I am the President. I have always had a desire to help and support other homeschooling families. My goal is to provide everything a homeschooling family needs or wants to complete their journey. After my years of experience, and now that my children are grown, I feel this is my time to make it happen! I look forward to seeing your children learn, grow, and thrive in our family at FAITH Homeschool Academy!
Hello! I was born and raised in Port Orange, Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Stetson University and my graduate degree in English Education from Liberty University. I taught high school English in the Volusia County school district before coming on board with FAITH. My academic passions include reading fiction, creative writing, poetry, and literary analysis. I'm looking forward to sharing my love for these things with my students in hopes that they will grow as readers and writers. In my spare time, I also enjoy large cups of coffee, spending time at the beach, and being a mom to our two girls, Ella and Audrey.

In my spare time, you will find me working out in our ninja backyard, at the beach paddle boarding, remodeling our old home, reading, or playing board games with my family & friends.
Hi, FAITH family! My name is Brianna Bullock. I have been married to my sweetheart, Ethan Bullock for 8 years. I am a homeschool mom of 3 children; Alani, Ethan Jr., and Addison. My specialty is in early childhood development and education. Before homeschooling, 7 years ago, I was a Preschool Educator. After this, we adopted our oldest daughter, Alani, and moved to Palatka, Flordia to work for a boy's behavioral group home. There, my husband and I ministered to 48 different boys over 3.5 years as House Parents. We now live in Daytona Beach, where I am a home-school advocate/help to parents who are looking for homeschool resources and a co-teaching environment. Also, I volunteer as one of the children's ministry teachers at my church, CrossRoads. I am so excited to share this journey with you, by teaching your children in a Jesus-loving environment!
Hello! I am very excited to be part of the FAITH family! I graduated from Southeastern University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and began teaching first and second grade! After moving to North Carolina, I received my Master's degree in Literacy from Queens University and continued to teach in the public school system for about 7 years before stepping away to start my family. For the past few years, I have had the privilege of staying home to raise my two beautiful children, Griffin and Harper. My husband and I are also very involved in our local church and help lead the praise and worship on Sunday mornings and are the small group coordinators. Now that both of my children will be in school full time, I am ready to jump back in and begin teaching again! I am very excited to have the opportunity for this new adventure.

Math & Spanish
My name is Lorena Perman. I was born in Costa Rica, a Spanish speaking country, and have lived here in the United States for 25 years. I graduated in Costa Rica with a bachelor’s degree in law in 1991 and practiced law there till I moved to the United States. I enjoy teaching Kids and the different disciplines I am offering for the next school year. I also enjoy presenting my lessons to the children in a Christian context, where Christ is exalted, and His love is shared. My husband and I homeschooled our three children since kindergarten through high school. My oldest son graduated from UCF with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2020, my younger son graduated last year from High School and is planning to pursue an engineering degree as well. We are still homeschooling our daughter who will begin 10th grade in the fall. Through my homeschool experience, I was blessed to be able to teach Spanish in the coop where my children participated since 2007; and ever since I have been actively teaching Spanish in different coops where we took part. I have taught over the years Spanish, Science, robotics, and I have been teaching the young kids Math class for FAITH for the last three years. I have also been teaching Spanish at the Daytona Beach Christian Academy for the last four years.
My name is Nicole Kocsis, but most children call me Coach K. I am a certified PE Teacher, and I am also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the military from 1995 to 1999, I received my bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University (Pennsylvania) in Movement Studies and Exercise Science with a minor in Health Education. My seventeen years of teaching experience includes both public and private schools in New Jersey and Florida. My most current teaching experience was with
Spruce Creek Elementary School. After a long and rewording career in education, my husband and I
decided to homeschool. Although this year was successful, we longed to be part of a school community.
Faith Homeschool Academy seems to be the perfect fit for our family. I look forward to partnering with
the academy as a homeschool parent as well as bringing my experience and passion for Physical
Education to the students.
Dance training started for me at 3 years of age. At 19, I began my professional career as a principal dancer with a renown Chicago based company touring nationally and internationally. During the off season of company work, I performed Disney Movie Premiers in Chicago, Los Angeles and Spain. Then, on the SS Rotterdam, Holland America's World Cruise I traveled to over 50 countries as a principle singer/dancer performing my way around the world. For four years following, I lived in NYC and performed as a Radio City Rockette at Radio City Music Hall. Then in Hollywood, CA I was cast in several commercials and television shows working with award winning actors such as Keira Knightley, Directors, such as Garry Marshall and Choreographers such as, Vincient Patterson. In California 2004, I gave my life to Jesus Christ and since then the Lord has used my experience to direct, choreograph and teach a range of all ages and proficiencies in Mega- Churches, colleges, high schools, conferences, studios, playhouses and theater camps. What I love most now with dance is drawing out the dynamics of artistry in each budding student while blending an excellence of skill and watching God enable artists to express their freedom in Christ with celebration and heartfelt worship.

Hello F.A.I.T.H. families! My name is Nicole Matute, and I am so excited to partner with you in your Home Education program. I trusted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in February of 2009. Shortly thereafter, I married my best friend, graduated from the University of New Haven with an M.S. in Education, and began a four year adventure of teaching English, ESL, and reading at New London High School, CT. A desire to raise our family in a Bible and Christ centered church brought us to Volusia County. Here I taught (public) high school reading, creative writing, and journalism until my second son was born, and I was promoted to stay-at-home-mom. I have been happily homeschooling our own three boys since 2015, and am excited about all of the ways F.A.I.T.H offers to enrich all of our children’s educational experience.
Aloha FAITH families! My name is Taylor. I have been following Jesus for 23 years. I’ve been married to my husband, Clint for 13 years. We moved from Maui, Hawaii to Florida in 2018. I am homeschool mom of 3 children ages 6 and under.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design but I wear many hats. In addition to being a graphic designer, I am a Christ-centered yoga instructor, health and wellness coach, childbirth educator and hand lettering artist.
I am passionate about Jesus, health and wellness, raising children to one day be good adults and chai lattes.
When I’m not teaching at FAITH you’ll find me leading mom‘s Bible study groups, hand lettering art, making elderberry syrup, serving on my local Young Life committee and spending time with my family.
I very much look forward to drawing the hearts of your children closer to Jesus while I teach them life skills that will serve them in real situations for the rest of their lives.

History & Writing
My name is Michele McLean. I graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Regent University. My “career” has been home school educator for the past twenty years. I homeschooled my three children and previously taught at FAITH from 2012-2015. My main goal in teaching is to instill a love of learning in my students. My hope is that they will become lifelong learners.
In 2020, we happily moved back to Florida for my husband’s job. We have two grown sons who both recently graduated from college this past year and live out of state.
