Brandi Woodlee

My name is Brandi Woodlee. I have been married to my husband, Michael, for 28 years. We have two daughters, Mariah and Emily, who are now 21 and 25, and three grandchildren. I accepted Christ as my Savior in 1998. We were a homeschooling family for about 15 years. Most of those years I was in some type of leadership position in the support group Family Academics In The Home (FAITH). In 2012 we became a 501(c)3 non profit corporation, of which I am the President. I have always had a desire to help and support other homeschooling families. My goal is to provide everything a homeschooling family needs or wants to complete their journey. After my years of experience, and now that my children are grown, I feel this is my time to make it happen! I look forward to seeing your children learn, grow, and thrive in our family at FAITH Homeschool Academy!

Lindsay Darienzo

Hello fellow homeschooling families! I’m Lindsay Darienzo. I am so very excited to be a part of FAITH for two years now. This will be my third year homeschooling our son, and I know how vital these groups are! I have my bachelor’s of science in secondary education with a major in English and a minor in history. I have 5 years classroom teaching experience. More recently have been a stay at home mom to our 11 year old and almost 3 year old. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as reading a good book (when I can sit down!) I’m so ecstatic to reenter the classroom! I truly enjoy teaching and impacting the lives of my students for Christ. I look forward to meeting each of you.

Callie Fenby

I am so excited to be a part of FAITH for my second year! I'm a registered nurse of 13 years and have always had a passion for science! I love being able to see God in our world and share my faith and love of science with others. I've been a homeschool mom for 9 years, and was homeschooled myself as a child. I love that my kids can connect with other great Co Op programs like FAITH. In my spare time, you'll find me working out, at the beach (trying to surf or paddle board), fixing up our old house, or playing board games. I look forward to meeting you all!

Kelli Hallock

Hello! I was born and raised in Port Orange, Florida. I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Stetson University and my graduate degree in English Education from Liberty University. I taught high school English in the Volusia County school district before coming on board with FAITH three years ago, and currently teach English online to Chinese students. My academic passions include reading fiction, creative writing, poetry, and literary analysis. I'm looking forward to sharing my love for these things with my students in hopes that they will grow as readers and writers. In my spare time, I also enjoy large cups of coffee, spending time at the beach, and being a mom to our two girls, Ella and Audrey.

Numbers and Spanish

Janice Mclaulin

I am a born and raised Floridian and have been in education for many years! I have raised 4 children, spent 11 years working in remediation and as an Autism Consultant, and am certified in grades K-6. I believe that the key to education can be very simple teaching the three modes of learning: auditory, visual, and tactile, along with creativity.

As a graduate of the University of Florida, you can still find me cheering on the gators on Saturday afternoons. I enjoy running marathons, and just finished my 21st Marine Corp. marathon, as well as spending time with my 8 grandchildren.

Lower Elementary

Mandy Hallock

I was born and raised in DeLand, Florida, where I was homeschooled until high school. In 2011, I graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor's in English. For the next few years, I taught 6th grade Language Arts and Literature at The Geneva School, a Christian, classical school in Winter Park, as well as for FAITH back in 2015. My husband, Robby, and I have been married for 10 years, and have three children, Brooks, Britton, and Addelyn. Since becoming a mother, my love for teaching has reached beyond English to include supporting mothers as a certified childbirth instructor and birth doula. I also enjoy helping my husband as he ministers to college students in Volusia County through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. I look forward to meeting my students and inspiring them to love, or at least appreciate, gramatically exquisite sentences and a good story as much as I do.

Matt Reinhart

Hello everyone, I am Matt Reinhart.  I am so excited about my first year as a part of FAITH family. I am retired law enforcement after 31 years and was the Warden of the Volusia County Division of Corrections. I am married with four children and three grandchildren (fourth on the way). I accepted Jesus as my personal savior in September of 1998 and believe in strong Christian, conservative values. I have a passion for government and how it works and can't wait to share not only my knowledge on the subject but some personal experiences I have witnessed over the years in my line of work.

Michelle Kalphat

Hello!  I’m a ‘retired’ Chief Engineer/Research Scientist for the Dept of Defense and love any subject that involves Math- including science and finance.   I spent about 6 years volunteering in the Public School System with my 3 older kids and currently I substitute teach at local public high schools while homeschooling my youngest. I love being able to help kids develop a love for learning.   I've been a homeschool mom for 9 years and a part of FAITH for 6 years.  I love that my daughter can connect with other students and teachers through great co op programs like FAITH. I earned my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration.  Finances are a ‘hobby’ and passion of mine and I served as the Treasurer of a multi million dollar non profit to help guide our financial investments and provide financial and budget oversight.  In my spare time I love to read and to be outdoors!  My current outdoor activities include wilderness backpacking, snowboarding and bowshooting.

Tiffany Hopkins

Hello! I am very excited to be part of the FAITH family this year! I graduated from Southeastern University with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and began teaching first and second grade! After moving to North Carolina, I received my Masters degree in Literacy from Queens University and continued to teach in the public school system for about 7 years before stepping away to start my family. For the past few years I have had the privilege of staying home to raise my two beautiful children, Griffin and Harper. My husband and I are also very involved in our local church and help lead the praise and worship on Sunday mornings and are the small group coordinators. Now that both of my children will be in school full time, I am ready to jump back in and begin teaching again! I am very excited to have the opportunity for this new adventure.

Sherri Jarvis

This is my first year at FAITH, and I am already in love with the children, parents, and staff. I have recently retired from teaching 30+ years in Volusia County Schools.  I have a double major in social studies and language arts with a minor in Bible.  I graduated from South-Eastern University in Lakeland, FL.  In addition, I am National Board certified and have training working with various disabilities. I am a deacon at Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church.  Involvement with my family, pets, and church is the way I spend my free time.  Growing to know God and living to show God is my desire.

Coleen Hall

I graduated from UCF in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught for three years before we decided to begin a family. My intentions were to return to the classroom, but my heart was at home. When my oldest was ready for kindergarten, I decided to homeschool. Homeschooling has been my focus for the last twelve years, as well as homeschool evaluations and testing. I am a certified evaluator and SAT (Standford Achievement Test through Bob Jones University) test. While my teaching certification is grades 1-6, I am able to evaluate from K-12th. When I'm not homeschooling, I am busy with three teenagers and my husband. I look forward to seeing all of your child's hard work!
