Our experienced and passionate educators look forward to supporting you in your homeschool journey with your middle and high school aged students! These classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-4:00 at the First NSB Campus.

Math 5
Students in Math 5 will continue building on the skills they developed in Math 4, and will apply them to “real world” scenarios. It is my goal to make math engaging and relevant through games, activities, and project based learning exercises in addition to the daily lesson activities. This year, students can expect to receive more individualized assistance during independent work times, learn cooperatively with other students during math project times, and discover how math is found in creation as well as how we use it every day.

Literature 5
In our 5th Grade Literature class, students will explore variety of literary genres, from fiction to poetry. We will dive captivating stories, develop critical thinking skills, and enhance our love for reading through lively discussions and creative projects. Join us on this exciting journey as we unlock the world of literature together!

History 5
Explore the fascinating journey of early world history in World History: From Creation to the Resurrection class. This engaging course will take young learners through significant events, cultures, and civilizations, highlighting key milestones from the creation of the world to the pivotal moment of Christ's resurrection. Students will gain a foundational understanding of historical timelines and the impact of these events on our world today. Join us for an exciting adventure through time!

Writing 5
Students will continue strengthening their writing, thinking, spelling, and grammar skills
through IEWs structure and style program. This incremental technique helps students become strong and confident writers and speakers who are able to clearly and effectively organize their thoughts and ideas.

Science 5
Come join our Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics class! In this engaging and interactive course, students will embark on a scientific journey to discover the wonders of chemistry and physics. Through hands-on experiments and fun activities, young will explore fundamental concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and ignite their curiosity about the natural world.

Physical Education 5-6
PE class for grades 5-6 promotes fitness, teamwork, and healthy. Students participate in various sports and activities to enhance their physical skills and overall well-being This class fosters a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and emphasizes the importance of cooperation sportsmanship, and making healthy choices.

Spanish 5-6
This course is designed for those who are new to the Spanish language and want to build a foundation. You'll learn essential vocabulary, basic grammar, and conversational skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Join us to start your journey in mastering Spanish and connecting with a vibrant culture!

Math 6

Science 7
This is a true General Science course covering a variety of branches of science including astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, earth study, geology, paleontology, and environmental science modules giving students a solid foundation in that broad field of study. Students will learn how to properly use the scientific method, how to record data and report it, and how to utilize several types of graphs.

Literature 7
In our 7th to 8th grade Biblical Worldview Literature class, students will classic and contemporary texts through the lens of biblical principles, fostering critical thinking and personal reflection. This engaging curriculum encourages students connect literature to their faith, enhancing their understanding of both the texts and their own beliefs.

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Rachel

Spanish 7- 8
In this engaging course, students will explore the basics of the Spanish language fun activities, interactive lessons, and cultural experiences. We will cover essential vocabulary, simple grammar, and conversational skills, all designed to build confidence and a love for learning.

Physical Education 7-12
PE class for grades 7-12 promotes fitness, teamwork, and healthy. Students participate in various sports and activities to enhance their physical skills and overall well-being This class fosters a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and emphasizes the importance of cooperation sportsmanship, and making healthy choices.

English 9
English 9 works to enable students to transition from middle school level work to the more demanding high school level work. From the basics of literary analysis to writing a thesis paper. Students will become strong critical thinkers and will work towards identifying and responding to the influential ideas that shaped literature and culture through the world's history.

Algebra 1
In this class, students will exercise their problem-solving skills and learn that math can be accessible and useful! We will be using Teaching Textbooks for daily lessons in addition to a variety of math puzzles, games, and activities!

English 10-12
Students will dive deeper into what makes good literature and will also expand on writing and public speaking skills through the use of rhetoric.

World History
In our High School World History class, students will examine key historical events cultures through a biblical worldview. This course encourages critical thinking about the connections between history and scripture, helping students understand the relevance of past events in light of their faith.

Biology
Explore the fascinating study of biology in this course, where we delve into the wonders of creation through a faith-based lens. Gain a deeper understanding of life sciences while reflecting on the spiritual significance of the natural world as described in scripture.

Pre Calculus
In this class, students will exercise their problem -solving skills and learn that math can be accessible and useful! We will be using Teaching Textbooks for daily lessons in addition to a variety of math puzzles, games, and activities.

Government & Economics
In this engaging high school class on Biblical Civics, Government, and Economics, students will explore the intersection of faith and societal structures. The course will cover foundational principles of governance as outlined in the Bible, providing insights into moral and decision-making in public life. Students will also examine economic systems through a biblical lens, discussing stewardship, justice, and community welfare.

Geometry
In this course students will explore the fundamental concepts of shapes, sizes, and properties of space. Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, you'll critical thinking skills while learning about angles, triangles, circles, and much more. Join us as we uncover the beauty of geometry and its applications in the real world!

Homesteading
Join our homesteading class to learn essential skills for sustainable living, from gardening and animal care to food preservation and natural resource management. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your existing knowledge, this class will empower you to create a self-sufficient lifestyle.

Spanish 1
This beginner-friendly class is designed to introduce students to the Spanish language and its rich culture. Through engaging activities, students will learn essential vocabulary, basic grammar, and conversational skills, all while exploring the diverse traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Join us on this exciting journey to communicate effectively in Spanish and appreciate the beauty of the language!

Spanish 2
This High School Spanish 2 course builds on foundational language skills, focusing on enhancing vocabulary and grammar while encouraging conversational. Students will explore diverse cultural topics and engage in interactive activities to develop their proficiency in Spanish.
